Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa of ZANU PF has secured a second term in office after the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) confirmed him the winner with 52.60%. The second highest was Nelson Chamisa of the Citizen’s Coalition for Change (CCC) got 44.03%.
Opposition has rejected the recently ended elections as unfair and stolen. Many international observers also cited a couple of issues including but not limited to flawed voters roll, absence of ballot papers in some voting centers disrupting the voting process.
