After a second showing of the Queen Lozikeyi Academy in the annual Gauteng Women’s Soccer Tournament several South African women’s teams will also return the strengthening cultural exchange activities by participating in the Annual Bulawayo Sports Fiesta 2024 usually held around January/February.
2023 GWST Champions Blue Raycon has already communicated their dates as they will do their pre – season in the magical mountains of Matopos. Long time MFC friends Blue Birds ladies have also expressed their intentions to be part of the festivities.
The other two slots will be given to any teams that participated in this year’s edition. MFC has been organizing the Bulawayo Sports Fiesta annually since 2019. It is growing to be the City’s biggest annual sports show. Hosting several teams from across the border will further grow the tournament and cement cultural relations and ties.
