The United Nations convened Summit of the Future will take place on the 22nd – 23rd of September 2024 in the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The Summit is a high-level event, bringing world leaders together to forge a new international consensus on how we deliver a better present and safeguard the future. This once-in-a-generation opportunity serves as a moment to mend eroded trust and demonstrate that international cooperation can effectively tackle current challenges as well as those that have emerged in recent years or may yet be over the horizon.
The Co-facilitators of the preparatory process of the Summit of the Future, H.E. Ms. Antje Leendertse, Permanent Representative of Germany to the United Nations and H.E. Mr. Neville Gertze, Permanent Representative of Namibia to the United Nations: will convene stakeholders, civil society representatives UN Officials, diplomats and citizens on 13 December 2023, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m.
